Yes, absolutely! One family member or caregiver may ride with you at no extra cost, as long as space is available in the vehicle.
Medi Move is a private-pay specialized transport service. However, many of our Clients can access our services through their Managed Care Health Plan (MCP) if Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) is a covered benefit. If you receive Medi-Cal through an MCP, please contact your plan's member service department to confirm coverage for NEMT and verify if Medi Move is an approved provider.
NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) provides safe and reliable transportation for individuals who need assistance getting to medical appointments, therapies, dialysis, or daily activities but do not require an ambulance or emergency services.
