MediMove provides non-emergency medical transportation, senior transportation, and related personal support services.
We are not an ambulance service and do not provide emergency medical care.
By using our services, you acknowledge that all transportation is non-emergency and that you or the passenger is stable enough for transport.
2. Service Eligibility
To use our services, passengers must:
- Be medically stable and not require emergency medical attention.
- Be able to safely ride with assistance provided by our trained staff.
- Provide accurate information at the time of booking.
MediMove reserves the right to decline service if we determine that the transport is unsafe or outside our service scope.
3. Booking & Cancellations
3.1 Booking
Rides can be booked by phone, email, or through any scheduling system we provide.
We encourage bookings at least 24 hours in advance, especially for medical appointments.
3.2 Cancellations
To avoid charges:
- Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
- Late cancellations and no-shows may result in a cancellation fee.
4. Pricing & Payments
- Pricing varies based on distance, level of assistance, wait time, and additional services.
- Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are approved.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, or invoicing for approved accounts.
- If working with brokers or insurance, riders are responsible for any uncovered costs.
5. Passenger Safety
Your safety is our priority. Passengers must:
- Wear seat belts at all times.
- Follow driver instructions.
- Use mobility aids properly (if applicable).
MediMove is not responsible for injuries caused by:
- Failure to follow safety instructions.
- Incorrect passenger information provided during booking.
- Medical events unrelated to transportation (ex: fainting, blood pressure issues, etc.).
6. Personal Belongings
Passengers are responsible for their personal items.
MediMove is not liable for lost, misplaced, or damaged belongings.
7. Medical Disclaimer
MediMove does not provide:
- Emergency medical treatment
- Advanced medical care
- Life-support transportation
If a medical emergency occurs, we will call 911 immediately.
8. Service Delays
We do our best to be on time, but delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
MediMove is not responsible for missed appointments due to circumstances outside our control.
9. Conduct & Behavior
We maintain a respectful and safe environment.
Services may be refused or discontinued if a passenger:
- Behaves in a threatening, unsafe, or inappropriate manner
- Causes damage to the vehicle
- Is under the influence of drugs or alcohol (unless medically supervised
